Services

At Capicua we work to offer our two- and four-legged clients a comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and treatment service. We have designed different programs that cover a wide spectrum of canine education and behaviorism. From programs that work on bonding and communication with your dog to emotional management therapies that promote the empowerment of the guardian-dog pair when facing behavioral problems or teaching new behaviors.

These are flexible programs that adapt to the needs and possibilities of each case in order to provide each client with an individualized service within a previously studied structure. At Capicua it is important that the work sessions and practices have a fun and dynamic approach, even in the emotion management therapies that are usually difficult for the dog and the tutor, designing guidelines, exercises and routines that include concepts such as gamification, collaboration, a taste for challenges, courage, competitiveness, curiosity or the satisfaction of achievement.

Canine education
Capicua works based on the cognitive-emotional training method that moves away from the more traditional models based on behaviorism (reward-punishment), seeking to delve deeper into the cognitive and emotional processes that underpin behaviors. We are interested in enhancing the dog's capabilities in all its dimensions (physical, emotional, social and cognitive) and providing it with tools that allow it to solve problems and face conceptual learning.
Behavior modification
Dogs, like people, react to stimuli of a certain level by generating an emotion that can be positive or negative. In some cases, this emotion is responsible for responding behaviorally to the stimulus or situation that generated it, preventing the dog from a more cognitive procedure. The iteration of the emotional response can generate footprints that will end up affecting its autonomy and well-being.
Puppies special
When designing an educational program for puppies, two important aspects must be taken into account: delicacy and flexibility. Educating a dog, especially at an early age, is dealing with emotionally sensitive material and it is essential that the program can adapt to the individual needs and capabilities of each puppy.
